We have designed a pop-up pavilion to be installed at The Old Laundry Yard, a development by U+I, in Shepherd’s Bush.

The pavilion is an abstraction of the containers that enclose the new amenity spaces on the site. Different coloured material will be hung from the roof structure, drawing on the vibrant colours and textures of the fabrics on sale in the numerous materials shops along the nearby Goldhawk Road and in Shepherd’s Bush Market. The illuminated structure will be positioned on top of the containers, acting as a signboard for the scheme, providing a visual clue for passers-by to what’s happening within the scheme.

A host of events are planned to take place under the structure, including; a fashion show for graduates of locally based London School of Fashion, small gigs in collaboration with Bush Hall and performances in partnership with Bush Theatre.
